Adhayatam Prakash
The Adhyatam Prakash of Pandit Sukhdev Singh Nirmala, written in the court of Guru Gobind Singh in 1698, emphasizes the omnipresence of the supreme being, Vaheguru. It reflects on Vaheguru’s nature of Sat-Cit-Anand (existence-consciousness-bliss), which continuously breathes life into the material and unknowing world. Although the world appears to consist solely of name and form, Kavi Sukhdev Singh urges us to transcend these illusions and recognize the divine presence of Vaheguru as the underlying force that enlivens and permeates all things, transforming a seemingly dull and inert existence into a living manifestation of the divine.
